The W.G. Byers School Supplies Giveaway is an annual event aimed at ensuring that students in our community start the school year with the essential tools they need to succeed. Recognizing the financial challenges many families face, the giveaway provides students with the resources to start the school year confidently, reducing stress for both parents and students alike.

Objectives:

1. Support Students – Equip students with necessary supplies, such as backpacks, notebooks, pens, and other essentials, so they’re ready for a productive school year.

2. Ease Financial Burdens – Alleviate some of the financial strain on families, enabling them to focus on other priorities.

3. Promote Community Involvement – Engage the community in supporting education and encouraging youth success.

Items Included:

Each student will receive a package including:

• Backpack

• Notebooks

• Pens, pencils, and erasers

• Rulers, glue sticks, and scissors
